A Night In Havana - Cooking Class/Demo

Service Description

Spend the night with Havanabama in a live and interactive traditional Cuban cooking class/demo that will be taught by owner, Karlene. For the interactive part of the night, Karlene will teach you how to prepare 3 traditional Cuban empanadas (savory & sweet). One of which you will eat as an appetizer and the remaining two, you will take home to share with friends and family. The meal portion of the night will include picadillo (Cuban style ground beef), black beans & rice and a side of plantains. We then will end the experience with a tasty flan and cafecito. Karlene will live demo all of these amazing dishes while you dine. She'll share stories from Cuba, answer any questions you have along the way and pass on the tips and tricks she has learned in the kitchen. For a treat, we will have iconic Cuban beverages for sampling: Jupiña & Ironbeer and of course, water and sweet tea. The 1.5-hour event includes... * Part interactive/part demonstration cooking class * Chef accompanies you throughout the entire process and will provide recipes * Appetizer, meal, sides, dessert, and cafecito included Dates: Saturday, April 1st at 7pm - Sold out Saturday, April 22nd at 7pm Cost: $65 per person or $125 for two Registration will end 48 hours prior to the class start time. No refunds on bookings canceled within 72 hours of the class.

Cancelation Policy

All classes are non-refundable unless stated otherwise but are transferable to someone else. We will do our best to reschedule you if there is availability. If the class is hosted by a third-party and rescheduling is not allowed, you are more than welcome to come by and pick up the items you purchased for the class afterward.
